What are NFTs?

NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are singular bits of code and software that can store information. Unlike other cryptocurrency assets, NFTs are singular. That means they act as an individual file that can’t be replicated or combined with other crypto assets.

In the Web3 world, NFTs can serve as certificates of authenticity or proof of ownership, giving way to a whole new wave of digital artists who can now take better ownership of their work and collectors who can verify their ownership.

NFTs are metadata files and do not actually store the image/media file that they’re often known for but rather a link to it (usually hosted on the server of the creator or marketplace).

Where to Buy/Sell NFTs

Non-fungible tokens can be purchased from a variety of marketplaces. As the majority of NFTs today are Ethereum based tokens, transactions will typically take place using ETH cryptocurrency. Here are some of the most popular marketplaces.

Art You Can Touch

The metaverse is on the horizon, but until that time arrives, people will want physical art prints to display in their homes in real life.

Instead of just a digital representation, NFTs can be brought to life on mediums like gallery wrapped canvas, framed paper prints, metal prints, and more.

Promotional Tie-Ins

Give back to your loyal fans and audience by cross-promoting physical art prints with the purchase of the digital NFT.

Verify ownership of the NFT by checking the owner’s wallet prior to processing their printed product.

A Growing Market

The global NFT market is worth upwards of $20 billion, increasing over 20x between 2020 and 2021 alone.

It’s undeniable that this is a high value market that will only continue to grow. Physical art prints are perfect for this market and represent a lot of untapped potential for additional revenue.

We are the solution for your NFT printing fulfillment needs.

How do I buy NFTs?

NFTs can be bought and sold on marketplaces such as OpenSea, Nifty Gateway, and others. The majority of NFTs are currently Ethereum based tokens so transactions will typically take place in the form of the ETH currency.

How do I print NFT art?

Printing your NFT is a great to show off your art in real life. Whether you are the original creator or owner by purchase, as long as you have an image file to use for printing, you can print your NFT. Note that only still images apply here, and NFTs that are animated GIFs, videos, music, sounds, etc. cannot be printed.

If you have your artwork ready to go in the form of an image file, JONDO is ready to print it for you. We offer a variety of product options including canvas prints, paper prints, acrylic prints, metal prints, pillows, blankets, poster prints, and more. Contact us for more information.

Can I print my own NFTs?

If you are the original creator of your NFT, then you hold original commercial rights for reproduction of your artwork (unless explicitly transferred to another party).

How do I prep files for NFT art printing?

Always make sure you are using the highest resolution file available. At JONDO, we accept a DPI (dots per inch) range of 32-300 but recommend at least 150DPI for optimum quality.

We recommend for ICC profiles to be embedded in the image file. Adobe RGB (1998) is best suited for artwork while sRGB IEC61966-2.1 is best suited for photography. In the absence of an ICC profile, U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 and sRGB IEC61966-2.1 will be referenced. If soft proofing, we recommend SWOP and sRGB for previewing.

Although JPEGs can be submitted in CMYK, we highly recommend saving JPEGs in the RGB color space or mode for best results. All files will be assessed in the sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color space. If a JPEG is submitted in another color space, the RGB color profile for the image will be referenced.
